Advantages: The hotel is undoubtedly one of the high-end and clean hotels, but what distinguishes this hotel from the rest of Colombo hotels is its direct connection to the mall, and this undoubtedly gives the hotel a unique advantage over the rest of the hotels, where the customer finds an outlet, especially when the weather fluctuates and rains Disadvantages: Unfortunately, the observation that I have already raised several times is the narrowness of the reception base at the hotel, despite its breadth, the available seats are always occupied, How can the Traveler coming to the hotel if he has an elderly attendant who does not find a seat to rest in until the completion of the room arrangement procedures, but the other observation is related to the central restaurant, especially at breakfast time, where it is very crowded due to the lack of space, despite the availability of other halls on some floors of the hotel without taking advantage of them, and this does not fit with the hotel's global standing, I hope the hotel management will look for another rule dedicated only to breakfast so that the guest can feel comfortable and calm while eating breakfast instead of disturbing the restaurant right now, and I have a last note before traveling to Colombo and while booking my room, I asked to install a bidet in the bathroom and the response came that it was available, but when I arrived at the room, I found that the toilet system is another kind of connection and not as I requested and immediately installed a bidet as I requested and I thank the hotel management for quickly meeting the request, but it was preferable to have it available before arrival, especially that I sent a photo of the desired bidet, please the hotel management take care of customer feedback ..

The hotel is wonderful, the location is perfect, just near the sea. Everyone is so polite, friendly and always ready to help.

We had some issues with our TV and the team upgraded our room)

All the best loving staff and food drink excellently. The ambience is very special with the beach and the river. My birthday 🎂 wishes very well prepared had been reconsidered. We have been there 2 times and would like to go back.recommend value. The price is reasonable. Nice Maneger Mr.anil and Kalindu jayanath,Upul kitchen chef and Dileepa made our wishes come true. Thank you very much 🙏

I had a wonderful time here. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast buffet is extensive, offering everything from Western to Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine. The hotel is situated on a headland between the river and the occean, with direct access to the ocean. The resort also features a large swimming pool. The staff always have a smile on their faces and cater to every wish. Special mention goes to Shashini, Samuchi, Themiya, Ishara, and GM Anil. You simply feel at ease here. I would come back anytime.

It was a corporate booking(BOC Kandy SGB) and i spent a full board overnight stay with my spouse. This was the best hotel i experienced with speedy internet. That is a good sign in hospitality industry. The 3221 room was good, clean and worth the price. Menus are satisfactory but the same can be improved with a good variety. Overall happy. Thanks and keep improving.

Advantages: The hotel is wonderful in all respects, a large and luxurious lobby, connected to the most important mall in Colombo, the staff is professional, they did their job perfectly , I would advise anyone visiting Colombo to stay only at the Shangri-La Hotel Disadvantages: The suit has a muffled smell, it needs ventilation, maybe the resident before me was a smoker, knowing that I also lived in the rooms at the Shangri-La Hotel and did not have this smell

We have always eaten at Café Bém during our hotel stay and are just thrilled. The food was fantastic and of excellent quality, but what really made our visit unforgettable was the fantastic team on site!The entire service staff is incredibly sympathetic, cordial and attentive. A big thank you goes to: Sandeepa,Shashini,Kalindu,Sudan,Themiya,Shevin and Dinindu All of you were extremely accommodating and read every wish from our eyes – always with a smile on your face! Also very noteworthy is Shashini who has always greeted us with a very big smile.You feel here not only as a guest, but completely welcome. If you are staying at this hotel, you should definitely not miss a visit to Café Bém.Thank you very much for this wonderful care, we are incredibly happy to come back!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely attentive, respectful, and hospitable throughout our visit special thanks to Suraj and Shashini. For being amazing. Tharanga, Ravindu, Kalindu and Madu were always friendly, helpful, and made our family of 10 feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Their excellent service really made our stay enjoyable. I would happily recommend this hotel to others!
